I have really enjoyed taking the dental assisting course through Salt Lake Academy of Dental Assisting!  The course went by very fast and I learned so many skills that I was able to apply immediately.  Both Jeri and Terina are very knowledgable about the dental field and are excellent demonstrating all of the skills in the lab.  I believe this course has given me a better understanding of what is expected of a dental assistant.  This has well prepared me for a career as a dentist.  -Kierstin

I really enjoyed the dental assisting course.  As a pre-dental student at the U of U, I was unsure if the dental road was one I wanted to be on.  However, after just a few classes with the lovely instructors, I realized how much I love the dental field!  Both Terina and Jeri are very understanding of each student's needs and they do everything they can to help each student succeed.  They instill in each student a monumental passion for patient care and the practice of dentistry.  -Patrick


Going into this program, I knew a little bit about what dental assisting was about.  After a few classes, I saw just how much there was to learn about this profession.  I mainly took this course as an exploration to see if dentistry was a career path that I wanted to take. I've had thoughts about dentistry for many years, and after this class I can say that my interest has been elevated!  I feel that in these short 10 weeks, I have learned enough to comfortably seek employment as an entry level dental assistant.  Knowing what I know now and the experience I gained from this course, I have the confidence to further my education in dentistry. This was a great experience to be a part of and I'm glad I made the decision to enroll!   -Branden
