10 Week Dental Assisting School - Salt Lake Academy of Dental Assisting

We started 2018 with a bang!  Our new class is fun and very motivated!  We have several students in this group who are planning on attending Dental School and becoming Dentists!  Yay, we love when our students share our passion for this amazing profession!

I've really enjoyed my time as a student at SLADA! I've learned so much in the last 10 weeks, it's truly unbelievable. Although it took lots of late night study sessions, I managed to complete this course while working 40 hours a week because of the convenient night hours. Terina and Jeri are great instructors and they really make the class fun! I feel ready and excited to start work in the Dental field! Halee

I really appreciated how committed Terina and Jeri were to our learning and better our education. I could really feel that they both wanted us to succeed as Dental Assistants. I also love the night hours which allowed me to be able to work full time during the day.

The instructors were very welcoming and informative. The curriculum provides so much useful information and it is easy, if you study. The labs are fun and provide good basic experience for working in a dental office.  Even though I had never done a resume in my life, creating an awesome one went so smoothly thanks to Jeri!  I loved the night hours, it made maintaining a regular life, simple.  Alexis

Fall Semester 2017 - 10 Week Dental Assisting School - Salt Lake City, Utah

We can't believe that we are nearing the end of our FALL 2017 Semester!  We've had a busy year, all four of our classes were full and we met some very amazing students!  Many of whom are now very successful Dental Assistants!

Our Fall class will be graduating from our 10 Week Dental Assisting Program next week!  They are out doing their externships in wonderful dental offices throughout the Salt Lake Valley!

Our favorite part about Graduation is celebrating in our students accomplishments and seeing how their confidence and progress have grown over the past 10 weeks!

Our second favorite part is reading their Exit Interviews.  We gain much knowledge from our students and take each and every comment to heart.  We appreciate our students so much!

SLADA is awesome! I really loved attending SLADA!  I loved the small class size and hands-on training.  The instructors are awesome and make you feel so comfortable.  I made a lot of new friends and even though it was only a 10 week course.  I am sad to leave!  SLADA changed my life for the better and I cannot wait for a new career!  Emily

The thing that I liked most about this course is how small and hands-on it is.  Since it's not a big class you get more one on one time with the instructors.  Everyone is always so willing to answer any questions that you have.    Not only is it an educational experience, it's also very FUN!  I made a lot of new friends and I'd do it all over again!  Karla

I loved every minute of this class and learned so much in a short amount of time.  All of the instructors were great and easy to talk to.  They did whatever they could to help each student.  Also they are very supportive with getting job interviews, help on interviews and always wanted to stay updated on how our externships are going. Winter Semester 2017

This has been a whirlwind of a semester at Salt Lake Academy of Dental Assisting!  The past 10 weeks have truly just flown by and we have an amazing group of Dental Assistants graduating this week!  We are so proud of the hard work and dedication that our class has shown and there are many lucky dental offices who will have these graduates as part of their Dental Team!

Salt Lake Academy of Dental Assisting was an amazing experience!  I love how even though the program was only 10 weeks, we learned a lot!  The instructors are always willing to help you and it was great to be able to start our externships after week 5.  With this program, I received a mini iPad and it helped me study and prepare for each test. SLADA is an amazing course that I would personally recommend if you are looking to enter the dental field and don't want to go to school for a year and get a bunch of debt. It's affordable and super fast, and they prepare their students for a job in the dental field in just weeks.  Terina, Jeri, Jordan, my instructors, work alongside Dr. Martinez to cover lectures and hands on labs.  Because the classes are so small, each student gets individualized attention.  Also, Jeri was always there for me when I had any questions (even outside of class!)  As a hands on learner, I really appreciated the time SLADA takes to allow students to practice in a dental setting and engage with fellow students.  Overall, SLADA is a great choice to get started in an exciting new career!  Olga

Tonight is the very last night at SLADA and it breaks my heart.  I will treasure all of the things I learned here, for the rest of my life.
